Toddlers
Our toddler room directed towards our 2 1/2-3 Year olds. The toddlers learn through play and social interactions. They learn valuable lessons like sharing, taking turns, using manners, and more. Working in their vocabulary abilities and keeping a structured routine so they know what to expect in preschool is an important aspect of their learning. We fully believe that each child learns at their own pace.
Preschool
Kindergarten readiness is the goal! Students will learn to write their name, draw shapes, write numbers, etc. They will learn to notice emotions and how to regulate them. They will also learn the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes, once they learn this, they will start completing sight words. They will be able to quantify objects and simple math problems. Preschoolers are given an assessment to see what they need to work on more so the teachers can individualize lesson plans to ensure each child is learning to their potential!
School Age
Our school age kids work on reading studies, Mathematics, and writing throughout the summer. We align lesson plans with what the children are learning in their grade levels and anything that the parents believe they needed extra help on. It is important to us that the school agers continue their education even though it is their breaks, although we have plenty of fun besides just learning all of the time.
Special Needs
Our special needs unit focuses on more one on one instruction. Teachers complete all lesson plans based on the child's needs. Teachers provide more visual aides in the classroom and assist the children on how to communicate their needs so when they are in school they know how to do so. The goal is to improve confidence and independence in the classroom. Our special needs instructor is a registered behavioral technician with experience in the special needs field. We provide observations and recommendations to help you child any way we can!
